Day 1
Depart Cape Town and head east, stopping at Worcester, before entering the "fruit basket" area of the Western Cape. Continue through the Cape Dutch town of Swellendam and experience the folded sandstone mountains of the tradouw and huisriver passes. Enter the ever-changing semi desert area of the little Karoo before reaching the Ostrich Capital of the world Oudtshoorn.

Day 2
Early morning excursion to the Cango Caves with an exploration of the interior of the Swartberg Mountains. After a short stop in Prince Albert in the great Karoo continue through the mountain via Meiringspoort (weather permitting). Head via Oudtshoorn, to the heart of the Garden Route over the Outeniqua Pass through the South African lake lands.

Day 3
Explore the indigenous rain forests of the Tsitsikamma through the Victorian passes of Bloukrans and Groot River. After a brief stop in Plettenberg Bay, continue to the famous Post Office Tree and on to Port Beaufort.

Day 4
Our final day begins by crossing the Breede River mouth by ferry at Malgas near Cape Agulhas where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet. En route to Hermanus travel via the wheat fields of the Overberg. Proceed to the spectacular coastal drive along the east coast of False Bay with its panoramic views of Cape Point and Table Mountain across the bay. Drop off at the hotel or at Cape Town International Airport.
