We travel via Camps Bay, Hout Bay, and Chapman's Peak to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. We board the Funicular (optional) to reach the hillcrest. We continue for a visit to a penguin colony. We continue towards Simon's town and Muizenberg. After an optional lunch we continue on to Groot Constantia were we have an introduction to South African wines. We return via Constantia Nek, Hout Bay, with a short stop at the Harbour, sea point and the city. Please note: The drive via Chapman's peak is subject to the road being open, alternatively we will drive via Ou Kaapse Weg.

Travel to Somerset West for some wine tasting, we then continue along the coast to Hermanus. From the months of August through to November numerous whales with their calves may be seen frolicking amazingly close inshore. Return to Cape Town via Elgin and Sir Lowry's Pass.

Our first stop will be Paarl before continuing to Franschoek to enjoy some wine tasting at a local wine farm. Passing through the beautiful Franschoek Valley we head for a historic wine farm for some more wine tasting followed by lunch (not included) in Stellenbosch. After a tour through this historic town we return to Cape Town.

Depart from Cape Town and Head East, stopping at Worcester, where a visit to the Klienplasie open-air museum portrays the lifestyle of the early pioneer farmers. The KWV Brandy cellar, largest of its kind in the world, offers a cellar tour and Brandy tasting. From here we travel to Montagu in the heart of route 62 and the start of the klien Karoo. Taste wine at one of the 23 wine cellars along the historic route 62 in the fertile Breede river valley. Montagu is famous for its heritage in brandy making, wine and the natural hot springs. Return to Cape Town via the hex river valley.
